Faith

Many shun my belief in Jesus Christ, God, because when it comes down to it, despite the Bible, despite any examples or explanations, despite the fact that we too have scientific proven facts on the subject of our beliefs, in the long run it is all faith [*Hebrews 11:1]. They tell us in mockery that faith is just an excuse for believing in what we have not seen, heard, or touched. Some are quite intellectual and very intelligent, but only in a worldly sense, for this is what can blind them. They base their disbelief in God on science and renowned “proven facts” that state otherwise.

For those who believe solely in science – Where did you hear about these scientific experiments, successes, facts, history, etc.? You read about it. You heard about it. Do you know these famous scientists personally? Have you met them face-to-face, not just seen photos or watched videos of them? Did you witness these so-called “proven” theory developments firsthand? More than likely, no, you have not. You base all your personal non-religious beliefs in faith – faith in your scientists, faith in what you’ve read.

As I vaguely mentioned before, us Christians also have scientists who have proven our beliefs in the Biblical creation of this universe. Now how could science prove two or more various theories? Science doesn’t seem to be much of a reliable source. [*I Timothy 6:20-21]

Now let me ask you, if I am wrong in my beliefs and you are right, what happens when we die? Nothing? We go no where, everything just ends, or maybe we go to a place built on our own fantasies of wherever we think we’ll be happiest.

Ok, what if YOU are wrong and I am right? Let’s say we die and you never accepted the FACT that God created every detail of this universe with specification and that His son, Christ Jesus, came to this world and died to save us from our sins. What happens then?

Dear friend, you will burn in the lake of fire, a literal Hell, for eternity [*Matthew 25:41-46]. I will be in Heaven with my God and other fellow believers [*Matthew 25:31-34]. Our tears will be wiped away [*Revelation 21:4]. I will walk on streets of gold. But not for my own works, but because of the belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He died on the cross for my sins and He rose from the grave [*Ephesians 2:8-9]. Seems like a children’s fairy tale doesn’t it? That is what makes it beautiful. And you could be there with me, with all of us, with the Creator!

This belief is not complicated, it is quite simple. And yet, it is beyond our human mental comprehension of reality. For if God’s mindset was the same as a human’s, what sort of God would He be?

What if I am right and you are wrong…? To stick by your pride of what you think is right based on your faith in a false science, you’ll risk burning, screaming, gnashing of teeth for eternity [*Luke 13:27-28a]. That is quite the risk.
